This is the site of Canberra Sharepoint User Group. Yes, the beauty of the Internet is that Australia is not so far away.
In particular, under the Presentations tab there are many presentations on various topics as well as some movie that concerns the development of Web Parts in ASP.NET .
Under the download section you can also download a SharePoint_Tips_Utility_Pack but I have not had time to try.
